Mailing Address Change
Inquire about the availability of documents in alternate formats.
Owners must maintain a current mailing address for each parcel owned. A mailing address may be changed using ONE of the methods listed below. Please do not submit an address change using more than one method.
- When mailing your tax payment to the Department of Finance, place an X in the box on the front of the tax bill payment stub and complete the change of address on the back. This information will be forwarded to the Assessor after your tax payment is processed by the Tax Collector's Office.
- Mailing address change requests must be made in writing. Requests are not accepted by telephone. Complete the Mailing Address Change form. This form may be sent via regular mail, e-mail, or fax provided on the form.
- Write a note to the Sacramento County Assessor, 3701 Power Inn Road, Suite 3000, Sacramento, CA 95826-4389. Provide your name, parcel number, property address, new mailing address, daytime telephone number, and signature.
